How does this one compare to Ulead’s Visual Studio or Pinnacle? I use Ulead’s VS8 and my only complaint is that I didn’t get the Dolby Audio package for $30. Every now and then, I really need that and there is no good way to get Dolby converted to anything else without losing sync with the video.

How the heck have you been? My brother brought your name up the other day and I told him I hadn’t seen you since NTR.net way back in 1995 or so. I’d love to hear your stories about that company sometime! Congrats on the baby!

Dave I have been relentless in pursuing researchers who are working towards curing Type I diabetes. I have attempted to contact Dr. Trucco and the other researchers at The Children Hospital of Pittsburgh. All to no avail. Apparently they now have a individual who is fielding all the emails going to the researchers. Unfortunately this person is a IDIOT. So, I am asking you Dave, what information have YOU uncovered?

crossover office or wine-X. They let you run the plugins as windows native. It’s not the perfect solution but it lets you look at web pages you otherwise couldn’t.

I’m setting up a Linux box for the missus to work on and it runs Linux, Firefox, WoW, iTunes, an ssh client, and Microsoft Office. I can’t imagine that a computer would need anything else. Ever.
