Last Saturday night, Dave and I dropped Zack off at my mom''s. Then we drove downtown and got our room at the Seelbach. We drank a whole bottle of champagne (provided in the room) and then got dressed up and went out and partied at 4th Street Live. We had a great time. I was impressed by all the places down there. We started at the Red Star Lounge, then went to Felt and Lucky Strike, followed by The Red Cheetah (nice dance place--we had such fun), and The Pub, Parrot Bay, even went into the country bar, although we didn''t stay long. We had fun at the Howl At The Moon piano bar (used to be at O''Malley''s) and went back to the Red Cheetah for more shots and dancing. We ended the evening at the Maker''s Mark Lounge (swanky and chic) before getting back to the room and passing out--but not before I ended up getting sick. Blech. I can''t hold my liquor anymore. LOL
Overall, I recommend hanging out down at 4th Street Live. It''s more than just the Hard Rock and there''s actually quite a diverse selection of people there--although we started at around 9 pm and were done by midnight... it really was getting crowded when we left. Oh, and the jalapeno cornbread with honey butter at Red Star rocks...
